TRANSPARENT COMMERCE

Affiliate Disclosure

How DRIP may earn commissions while keeping product discovery contextual, clearly disclosed, and separate from the retailer checkout experience.

Last updated August 14, 2026Pre-launch draft
Important: This disclosure reflects the intended pre-launch model. It must be updated to name active networks, merchants, and practices before affiliate links go live.
01

The short version

Some product links on DRIP may be affiliate links. If you click one of these links and complete a qualifying purchase with the retailer, DRIP may receive a commission. We will use plain-language disclosures near relevant shopping experiences so users can understand the relationship before acting.

02

How affiliate commerce works

DRIP is designed to connect inspiration—such as a creator post, community look, live event, fashion story, Style Coach suggestion, or virtual try-on—to products offered by independent retailers. An affiliate network or retailer may use referral technology to recognize that a visit or purchase began through DRIP.

A commission helps support operation and development of the platform. A commissionable link does not mean DRIP is the seller, manufacturer, or fulfillment provider.

03

Our approach to recommendations

Affiliate eligibility does not guarantee that a product will be featured or ranked. DRIP intends to consider relevance, user context, community signals, product information, availability, and experience quality. Sponsored placements or paid relationships will be labeled separately when applicable.

Creators and designers must share honest opinions and disclose material relationships, including payment, gifts, free products, employment, ownership, or other benefits that could affect how a recommendation is understood.

04

Prices, availability, and retailer terms

Product information can change. The retailer’s product page controls the final price, availability, sizing, shipping, tax, return policy, warranty, and checkout terms. DRIP cannot guarantee that feed information remains current at every moment.

You should review the retailer’s information before purchasing. Any purchase contract is between you and the retailer unless DRIP expressly identifies itself as the seller.

05

Where disclosures will appear

DRIP plans to place disclosures close to commissionable recommendations or shopping actions, using understandable language such as “DRIP may earn a commission from qualifying purchases.” A general footer disclosure does not replace contextual disclosure where one is needed.

Live streams, creator posts, editorial modules, and other formats may use a visible label, spoken disclosure, caption, or a combination appropriate to the medium.

06

Affiliate networks and attribution

DRIP is seeking affiliate relationships with product partners to connect approved merchant feeds and attribution infrastructure. Mentioning a potential partnership on this pre-launch site does not mean a relationship has been approved or activated.

When enabled, affiliate networks and retailers may process referral identifiers, click information, device or browser data, and transaction confirmation needed to attribute qualifying activity, subject to their own terms and privacy notices.

Questions

If you have a question about whether a link, placement, or creator relationship is commissionable or sponsored, contact DRIP through the Contact page. Transparency is part of the product—not an afterthought.
